Hello sirs. i have a few questions about the VTC actuator/wheel:
I recently took mine apart (took the lid off, did not remove the cambolt) to look and see what amount of advancement it has, and if it had been 'pinned' or machined to the 35° I should not surpass.
k, so there is/was no pin inside, and it looks like it has never been machined (Milled and/or ground).
I tried writting down the PN stamped to the outside.. they were partially worn, so these are the nrs i got: PND 2702 1370 (No dashes, no slashes, nothing..)
I tried googling the nrs, in different orders, to no avail..
Does anyone have a list with the most commonly used Honda/Acura VTC actuators?? (PN's and VTC ° if possible). The search here in the forum brought me nothing useful..
OR: if someone has a VTC laying around, with the 46 teeth, would you mind measuring the Outer Dia of the inner VTC wheel?? They should all be the same....
I measured the "Gap" between the 'Teeth' and got 14,8mm. The outside Dia of the Outer VTC is 76mm (Circumference would then be 238.361mm), but i need the Inner Dia to figure out how much advance is possible.
